Nic Killian is a filmmaker, journalist, and investigative storyteller with a relentless drive to uncover the truth behind missing persons cases. With a background in video production and documentary storytelling, Nic brings a unique blend of empathy, curiosity, and determination to every investigation.
He founded The Lost Signal as a nonprofit initiative dedicated to shedding light on unsolved disappearances, cold cases, and the forgotten individuals whose stories deserve to be told. His work is rooted in a deep commitment to justice, a passion for truth, and a belief in the power of storytelling to create real-world impact.
Nic’s mission is clear: to give voice to the voiceless and help bring answers and closure to the families still waiting.
I'm Brian, a 46-year-old recovery coach, former hospitality professional, and lifelong seeker of truth. After 25 years in the hospitality industry and 7 years of sobriety, I found my calling helping others as a recovery coach for the past 5 years.
My natural investigative drive—shaped by personal transformation and years of service—has led me to join a mission that resonates deeply: finding missing people and giving their stories a voice. Alongside my close friend Nic, I’m throwing everything I have into building an investigative journalism nonprofit focused on justice, empathy, and impact.
How You Can Help!
At The Lost Signal, we believe real change happens when a community comes together. You can help by sharing missing persons cases on social media, submitting tips or information, and staying informed about active cases. Every share, every conversation, and every piece of information brings us one step closer to finding answers. Even the smallest action can make a difference — because behind every missing person is a family searching for hope. Together, we can amplify the signal, raise awareness, and help bring the missing back into focus.
